Philippines – fake rabies vaccines

With a rabies vaccine shortage in the Philippines, the Philippine Department of Health Food and Drug Administration has issued a worldwide warning of the emergence of counterfeit brand named rabies vaccines throughout the country. Initially confirmed for only one brand, recent reports confirm a number of different ones have been administered. At risk individuals travelling to the Philippines are encouraged to get their pre-exposure vaccinations in Australia before departure.
