Samoa – Measles epidemic (state of emergency declared)

The government of Samoa have declared a one-month state of emergency as of 15 November 2019 and proof of immunity to measles is required in order to enter the country.  This is in response to a measles epidemic the country is currently experiencing that has already resulted in deaths. Anyone travelling overseas should check they are fully immunised for Measles as well as other country specific vaccinations.
