The Centre for Disease Control is reporting an outbreak of polio in Papua Province, Indonesia. All travellers to Indonesia should be fully vaccinated against polio, and some adults may be recommended a single lifetime booster dose. Those travelling in Indonesia for a month or longer may be asked for proof of recent vaccination.
